I have an undying fear of heights. Just recently I was forced to get on an airplane and fly my ass down to an island that is off the coast of TX. Needless to say I dreaded every day leading up to my flight. I decided the night before I take off that, on the plane, I should write everything on my mind to keep my head from thinking "we are going down, fuck fuck fuck". I did end up thinking that, since its a quote from the 10 pages of fear and anxiety I wrote. But all in all it did work and now im in TX.
I really wouldnt conceder this pace, gaveston Island, TX though. TX is what I drove past on the way to get here. This is more like a tropical island. Its beautiful here. Its only a mile and 1/2 wide and 6 miles tall. Its pretty sweet and I wouldnt mind coming down here every so often to relax and write. Which is what im doing here right now.
On friday Im flying another plane up to Dallas. Im going to see the faint and tv on the radio show. It should be nice to see my friends in the band and to see Jess (____bleed). So yea, after all this writing is done I will do that. Ok im gonna go on a bike ride now and get somthing to eat and then get naked in water to clean myself.

| Tilly and the Wall Trailer |

Hey people. I Jess just updated my site with some new stuff. Well one new thing. A trailer for the Tilly and the Wall video I'm doing. This video turned out being kind of difficult so it may be another month before its done so I decided to put a trailer up so people dont think ive slacked off :-)
Also a Film Festival called "The Rural Route Film Festival" from NY is going to be coming down to Omaha November 26th and 27th. It will play short films and also most of the Saddle Creek music videos on a movie theater screen. Its gonna be at westwoods Cinema. Im doing a Q&A with the director of the festival who ever comes will be my best friend for ever.

Hey everyone my new video for "The Good Life" is up. Tell me what you think.. its up at www.nikfackler.com ..
Its my first technically complicated video.. The entire thing was done in one shot. There is not one cut in the whole video, so that makes it pretty intersting to watch and try to keep track of the band and the kids and how fast they had to run to get back into their next position.
Also things to look out for when watching:
1. Sasha
2. A dancing Watermelon
3. Ryu from the Shenmue game series
4. Kendo (A personal hobby of mine)
5. An oompa Loompa

I finished shooting the new video for The Good Life. It looks pretty sweet. It needs to be finished by this thursday.. So it will be up for everyones review soon
One of my short films, Mynoot Loss, is up to be in Sundance this year. My agent guy is going to make it happen I believe.. So that is good.

Hey everyone, sorry Ive been really busy lately.. Havent had a chance to post. Actually its that and a combination of not being able to think of what else to say. Im still doing the same exact things (working on three music videos and a feature). Nothing much has changed. ALthough the process has slowed down greatly lately and its getting really stressful.

Oh yea, Sasha is leaving soon and Im gonna kill myself (not literally just to show intensity). I also had this crazy nightmare last night, where Sasha and my friend Nick Rowley and I were all taking an elevator up this building. I got to the 48th floor and couldnt go any higher (I have huge fear of heights in real life). It was a small room and it seemed to sway back and forth, Nick Rowley told me that they have bocing matches here at night. He said whats really cool is the 81st floor! and I said no way dude, I walked away, and went back to floor one on an frighteningly fast elevator.

Its Sunday.. Jess is going to make me a website.. Which sounds like its going to be really intresting and cool.
Im meeting with my producer tomorrow to get my feature some legs. Lately Ive been working alot on the Tilly music video concept art.. And trying to get some budget ideas for all the music videos.
I watched Nickelodian (whoa, how do you spell that?) Gas over the weekend. It was really fun watching Legends of the hidden temple? Anyone else got any old Cartoons and shows they watched when they were a kid that they will never forget( David the Gnome, Fraggle Rock, etc. etc.)

Hey everyone... Im feeling awesome this morning. I stayed up super late last night and finished all these storyboards I had a deadline on. Then today Im meeting with Jake from neva Dinova. Two days ago I met with Tilly and the Wall (Coolest group of new people ive met ever!) and talked about doing them a video. They got my DVD and loved and then I got there new album (It comes out late in June I believe) and listened to. It is the funest, coolest album ever. I suggest you all go get it when it comes out...
The Faints new album is going to be drop dead amazing to from what I heard from it on the shoot with them.
I need to go now... I need to brush my teeth and what not.

Aww Man!! I feel so horrible right now (body wise) .. My head aches, my arms hurt, my back feels like its twisting around in circles.
Yesterday Tony and I shot the Faint video for their new European Single. We got there at 7:30 and working until 1:30 .. Then I had to wake up this morning at 8 again for more meetings and what not.. BLAH! The video looks amazing though and it was completely worth the work.
The only thing that sucks is that my puppy Maggie gets treated like sh*t when Im not around. So I try not to leave her alone at my house, but its hard when Im so busy.
Today I met with "The Good life" about a video for there new single. Should be pretty sweet. Im meeting with a band called "Tilly and the Wall" tomorrow about doing a video for them also. Then later in the week with "Neva Dinova" about a video. Then with "Bright Eyes". Its starting to really stress me out, because I really think I may have bit off more than I can chew. Its hard enough concentrating on one video and getting the most out of the concept I can. But if anything, this is really pushing my creative limits, so Im just going to concider is a challenge.
My feature film is coming along nicely. So far I have lots of bands signed on to do music for it, but no cast yet. Im gonna post some pictures from the faint video here once I get them back. But until then, someone send me money because Im broke and need gas.

PSS - Im not complaining by the way.. I mean I am.. But not because I want sympothy.. I just dont really know what else to talk about. Im ussually in a really good mood. But I just have alot on my plate right now, its stressing my out, and this is all I can think to write about. |

Today kind of sucked, because it was stressful.. I had many things to do and not alot of time to do it. I had to go to a family get together at 1:00, that lasted to 4:00 at 4:00 I went to pick up Sasha and my friend and partner Tony. Then at 5 we all went and met Dapose from the Faint at Lights on Omaha. We picked up all our equipment for the Faint music video shoot tomorrow. After we dropped it off at the set I rushed home and changed to get Ready for the Cursive video music premiere Party. All and all it may not sound like it, but that ended up being super stressful because I was always trying to fit in; trying to get to a birthday party.
The Cursive Party was awesome. I met alot of nice people and have lots of meetings next week. After the party Sasha, Tony, and I did end up stopping by Sasha's friends birthday party. And not its 1:23 and I have to go to bed to wake up at 7:30 for the shoot tomorrow. I plan on taking some fun pictures so I can put them on here.. yay yay yay.

This one is going to be short. I would add some pictures, but Im way to tired to figure out all that non sence at the moment. Im actually typing with my eyes closed, so im sorry if there are type Os and what not. Today was intresting I went down to where we are going to shoot the Music Video for the Faint. It looked pretty sweet and Im excited. We then Tony and I went to Light on Omaha and rented all the equipment packages we need. We pick them all up tomorrow at 5, and shoot all day sunday from 8 in the morning to about 1 at night. Its gonna be a shitty, but hopefully fun day.
Im meeting with The Good Life on Monday to tell them my concepts for there music video, I hope they like them. Next week Im also meeting with the lead singer of Bright Eyes to discuss music for my film. The only problem is I have all this fun and intresting stuff going on.. I just dont have any gil to pay for the insane gas prices. Its effing ridculous. I paid $2.50 today for gas. I only put in 20 bucks cause that was all the cash I had on me. Man, Im getting sick of cars all together we should all just live in TeePees and ride bikes.
My girlfriend Sasha Made a pretty purse. Yep..

Thanks for all the entries guys.. I really appreciate it and Im glad you all added me.
Today was an OK day.. Some good news came in the form of a phone call. My friend Conor who is a musician called. The good news that he is interested in writing some original music for my next film (Due to shoot next Christmas). This is great news because, 1 I really like his music, and 2 having another creative person on the team is always good.
Next week Im meeting with the band, the good life to work on some music video concepts for them and Im also meeting with the lead singer of another band I may be working with.
But as of right now, I think I just wanna play video games this weekend. Final Fantasy XI is calling out my name. I also have to storyboard out some scenes and make some artwork for my film also.. But I can do that this weekend.
Oh yea, my friend Tony Bonacci is town (hes an awesome photographer and cinematographer and if we all play our cards right I hope to get him to shoot the faint video this sunday.. HURRAY!

Well, this is my first official entry into one of these journals. It's 10:30 in the morning and at 11:00 I'm going to head up to lincoln to talk with a band called The Faint about helping them with there music video. I'm excited because I really dig the faint and seeing them record should be pretty sweet.
Umm, well a little about me: I'm 19, my girlfriend is Sasha_the_Elf, I play lots of video games, I listen to lots of music, I'm a filmmaker... and... umm.. Well I can't remember anything else.
I need to go to lincoln now.
